Update
To allow more time for our partners and customers to make the upgrades needed, Updox is rescheduling when TLS 1.0 will be disabled in its production services. The previous date was 3/27/2019; we will let you know the new date once it is available.
We encourage you to continue pushing hard to prepare your customers and your own infrastructure as the industry migrates away from the early versions of TLS.
The Updox production environment (myupdox.com) will be disabling support for TLS 1.0 on March 27, 2019.
Recent logging shows that 50+ IP addresses are still connecting to updox with TLS 1.0. If these systems are not updated to use TLS 2.0 by March 27th, they will lose access to Updox at that time. Please check any hosted environments you provide to your clients, and notify clients who have on premise systems. Web services and web browsers for TLS 2.0 compatibility.
For testing purposes the updoxqa.com environment already is rejected these outdated requests. If you need assistance using updoxqa.com to test your application, or if you have any other questions, please contact the Partner Support team at partnersupport@updox.com or call us at 614.798.8170 Opt.4

Update
Dear Partners,
Date Change for QudoxQA plans:
The date to sunset TLS 1.0 for incoming communications in UpdoxQA has changed from Dec 31, 2018 to Jan 2 2019.
Sunset Dates QA Jan 2, 2019 Production Mar 27, 2019
The QA environment is where you host your test systems. No production data should be in this environment thus no impact to your customers. Turning off TLS 1.0 in this environment earlier gives you a chance to verify your application is ready.
To give our partners more time to make product changes and upgrade their customers, Updox is rescheduling the date when TLS 1.0 will be disabled. The new dates are:
* Production 2019 Q1 (was 10/2/2018) - we'll get back to you soon with the specific date
* QA 12/31/2018 (was 9/18/2018)
* SSL has already been disabled
Various vulnerabilities over the past few years have led industry experts to recommend disabling all versions of SSL and TLS 1.0 for a while now. We too urge you to upgrade as quickly as possible. It's amazing how quickly the years have flown by, TLS 1.0 was released almost 20 years ago (Jan 1999), with newer versions (1.1, 1.2, and 1.3) released in 2006, 2008, and 2018.
Reminder: On October 2, 2018 Updox will be discontinuing support of the SSL and TLS 1.0 internet transport protocols in the production environment. To help you prepare, we will be making this same change to our testing environment, (updoxqa.com) on September 18th you can conduct testing before the change in production.
If you experiences any issues or need your credentials for the test environment, please contact our Partner Support team for assistance.
In this age of cyberattacks, it is crucial for us all to continuously improve online security. One such improvement is to cease supporting legacy versions of internet transport security protocols (SSL/TLS). The newer versions are more secure.
On October 2, 2018, Updox will disable support of the SSL and TLS 1.0 protocols.
What Should You Do?
If your operating systems and browsers are up to date you likely aren't using these outdated protocols (SSL/TLS1.0) when connecting over the internet...but it's always best to check your servers and workstations to prevent any service disruptions.
1. Verify the operating system version you're using supports TLS 1.1 or higher; if not upgrade. * This website provides info on SSL/TSL versions supported by operating system and browser (mid-way down the page): * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security#Web_browsers
3. In your internet browser settings, verify TLS 1.1 and higher are enabled. * This website has instructions for changing the settings in the common browsers; if yours isn't listed just do a web search for the instructions. * https://knowledge.digicert.com/generalinformation/INFO3299.html
